First Lady Michelle Obama was in town recently to recognize the work done by various agencies in reducing Veteran’s Homelessness.  VIA LINK’s Homeless Management Information Systems team was recognized for their work in eliminating homelessness of veterans in the New Orleans area by December 31, 2015.  A strategic plan was also implemented to house any newly identified homeless veterans within 14-30 days.  (January 2015)
