VIA LINK’s Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) tracks all homeless people and runaway youth in the area, monitors services available to them, and keeps an inventory of available housing to those in need.

The National Homeless Information Project has been ranking ours and others HMIS Continuum of Care performances nationally since 2014 and uses data provided by CoCs to keep track of performances separated by three geographic divisions. We are happy to announce that our programs in Jefferson and Orleans Parish have been ranked #1 nationwide for 2018 in system performance among large cities!  We could not have done so well without our amazing group of partner agencies in the UNITY of Greater New Orleans Continuum of Care.

VIA LINK will continues to provide additional assistance to homeless people by maintaining a database of over 4,500 resources that can assist them.  You can click here to view our resource database, which includes a number of services specifically for homeless people.
