On June 28th Starbucks opened a community store in New Orleans at the intersection of Claiborne and Washington Avenues. In addition to traditional Starbucks amenities, this community store provides free meeting space to nonprofits and will place additional emphasis on hiring from within the community

VIA LINK partnered with the store to provide resource information to their staff so they can help local residents connect with services for housing, food and other needs. We will continue to train their staff on using our database to identify the best resources in their area.
